Auckland Translations, as a division of A2ZTranslate Ltd., participates in a range of activities as part of our corporate social responsibility programme. Wherever possible we try to ensure that our CSR activities are not just purely financial, but also involve us to bring our expertise in translation to the benefit of the wider community as well.
Legasea - More Fish in the Water
A2ZTranslate has been involved with Legasea (and its predecessor option4) for many years now. Legasea works actively to promote a sustainable approach to fisheries management in New Zealand. A2ZTranslate has both supported Legasea financially as a commercial sponsor as well as providing translation services for a wide range of promotional materials. Shakti Asian Women's Centre
Shakti is an umbrella organisation that supports Asian women in New Zealand who have been victims of domestic abuse. Shakti runs women's refuges, support services and educational programs. Radio Network's "Special Children's Christmas Party"
The Special Children's Party provides one day a year for children who have a range of difficulties (from the terminally ill through to the intellectually impaired) where they can have a HUGE day out full of fun and activities. For the Auckland event more than 1500 children turned out last year, along with their families, sponsors and entertainers. A2ZTranslate has been a corporate sponsor since 2006. Sponsorship/Pro-Bono opportunities
A2ZTranslate is always interested to hear from organisations that can make good use of the services we offer. For us it is about being involved in our community, and while we do provide financial only type sponsorship, we greatly prefer to provide this alongside translation support services, where we can be involved in, and help, communicate with stakeholders in a professional manner.
